¡Qué locura cuando decidimos soltar el control y confiar plenamente en Él! Estos últimos días he tenido la oportunidad de reflexionar profundamente sobre las veces en que, genuinamente, he soltado el control y cómo Jesús me ha sorprendido con algo más grande. Esto aplica para todos los aspectos de nuestra vida. Cada día que pasa me queda más claro que fuimos creados para ser santos y que Jesús quiere que, mientras estemos aquí, nuestro camino sea llevadero si lo recorremos de su mano.
Así como Pedro caminó sobre las aguas, todo iba bien hasta que desconfió y cayó. ¿Cuántas veces no hemos sido como Pedro, llenos de miedo, desconfianza y terminamos cayendo? Sin embargo, Jesús, sin importar cuántas veces caigamos, siempre está dispuesto a levantarnos. Ojalá tengamos las agallas de Pedro para decirle: “¡Sálvame, Señor!”
Estoy segura de que Jesús toma nuestro “nada” y lo transforma en “todo” y en algo enorme, porque así es Él. No sabe dar poco; da a manos llenas. Nos enseñan muchas cosas en la vida, pero pocas veces nos enseñan a confiar plenamente en Dios.
La realidad es que, cuando le entregamos todo sin reservas, nos sorprende con algo mejor. Dios sabe todo de nosotros, pero no es lo mismo que lo hagamos partícipe de nuestra vida. Él es un caballero, no irrumpe; al contrario, espera pacientemente y se alegra profundamente cuando lo invitamos a entrar en nuestro corazón.
¿Qué ves en mí que no me sueltas?
A pesar de nuestros tropiezos y defectos, no nos suelta. Su amor y misericordia son tan grandes que no se pueden explicar. Él no nos pide un corazón perfecto, sino uno dispuesto a dejarlo obrar en nosotros.
